Responsible for the laundry services for residents, dietary and beauty shop areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick up, sort, wash, dry, fold count and deliver laundry to residents in apartments, cottages and village homes.
• Sort, pre-spot, wash, dry, fold, and iron as needed for the Health Care Center, Dietary, Beauty Shop, Housekeeping and any other departments as needed.
• Disinfect laundry area and equipment.
• Responsible for the proper labeling, handling and safe storage of all chemicals required by your department.

Qualifications:

• Must be Reliable and responsible
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and other personnel.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to adjust schedule or work overtime on occasion to meet departmental needs.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all organizational information.
• Ability to maintain and consistently apply knowledge of regulations issued by Arkansas Health Department, Office of Long Term Care, OSHA and other authorities.
• Must be able to follow all safety, security, infection control and hazardous materials policies and procedures.
