Summary:

The Dining Manager is responsible for overseeing venue operations with Manager's guidance to include execution of operations, inventory, food and/or beverage costs, labor costs and operating expense. Ensure excellent guest service standards are maintained and adhered to. Uphold excellent quality of food and/or beverage products and services.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision, performance appraisals, corrective actions, and scheduling for back of house employees.
  • Select and train a staff within company
  • Provide leadership of staff and foster a positive and cooperative work
  • Develop, implement, and monitor all cleaning schedules for those facilities as well as the equipment for all Food & Beverage
  • Adhere to all specified food safety and sanitation standards as determined by the appropriate health departments.
  • Handle Resident complaints when
  • Oversee daily operations of venue. Be visible in the kitchen and dining room during meal
  • Learn residents name and call them by name when
  • Keep buffet line stocked and
  • Assist residents with seating.
  • Ensure dining staff are properly engaged and serving
  • Maintain safe and sanitary work environments for both employees and
  • Responsible for administrative work, ordering and
  • Upholds a safe and sanitary work
  • Responsible for interviewing and assessment of
  • Introduction to the financial aspects of food/labor/operating
  • Duties may differ by work
  • Performs other job duties as

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required; 2+ years' experience in related field
  • Supervisory experience is a plus
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with residents, families and staff.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
